External wall and roof cladding sheets and insulation were replaced and upgraded to provide increased thermal performance and rejuvenate the appearance of the building. New vehicular and personnel doors completed the external warehouse enhancements.
The office façade was rejuvenated with new windows and brickwork repairs, whilst a liquid applied coating was used to give the roof a new lease of life.
Internally extensive repair works were carried out to the warehouse slab and the steel frame redecorated. Office spaces were stripped and the ground floor core refurbished leaving a fresh canvas for incoming occupiers to work with.
The external areas were adapted to provide additional yard space and parking with new fencing installed to provide clear separation between goods deliveries and car traffic. The mature and overgrown landscaping was tamed and supplemented with new planting and grassed areas.
The final result gave a dated and well used building a new lease of life without the cost and waste of extensive demolition.
