Built using traditional methods to compliment and blend in with surrounding buildings, the works were impacted by tight site constraints and close proximity of other residential properties.
Due to the heavy damage suffered by bombing in Coventry during the Second World War and the location of the site a watching brief was carried out by an Unexploded Ordinance specialist for all below ground works.
Planning restrictions provided a challenge to fit the required 18 apartments into the height available, this was overcome by amending the original designs to utilise a traditional cut roof.
Externally, associated drainage works, car park and landscaping were constructed to best utilise the limited space.
The final building was fully furnished and ready for students to move in at completion.
