With substructures already in place from the previous development, investigations were undertaken on the existing foundations and slab to ensure that they were structurally sound prior to erection of the timber frame construction with brick and render outer skin.
With limited drawings available from the previous phases of construction and a remit to replicate the appearance of the adjacent buildings, initial designs required special attention.
Each apartment was complete with kitchen and white goods included with incoming occupants left to choose their desired soft floor finishes and furnishings.
Construction activities were planned and undertaken to minimise disruption to the longstanding residents in the surrounding accommodation whilst still minimising overall programme duration.
The completed project included external works such as associated drainage, service provision, car parking area and landscaping to compliment the local area.
