Works on the eight start-up units alongside the River Bourne in Chertsey have now reached practical completion.
Throughout the project a number of additional requirements from our client were incorporated into the programme, including staircase access and toilet pods to each unit. Consequentially, additional fire compartmentation and reconfiguration of the external area were carried out.
The final product will provide good quality start up units for a number of businesses within the area.
Given the tight constraints of the site and the environmental restrictions due to the site being classified as a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI) and the challenges of COVID-19 at the close of the project, the site team have done well to achieve the final completion date.
